Viewing Issue Analytics

  1. Go to Analytics in the sidebar
  2. Or click an issue and select "View Analytics"
  3. See detailed metrics for that issue

Open Tracking

DailyDraft tracks opens using a small tracking pixel. You can see:

  • Total opens - How many times the email was opened
  • Unique opens - How many subscribers opened (deduped)
  • Open timeline - When opens happened over time
  • Email clients - Which apps subscribers use
Note: Some email clients block tracking pixels, so actual opens may be higher than reported.

Click Tracking

Every link in your newsletter is tracked. See:

  • Total clicks - All link clicks
  • Unique clickers - Subscribers who clicked
  • Click map - Which links got the most clicks
  • Click timeline - When clicks happened

Link Performance

Each link shows:

  • Number of clicks
  • Click percentage of total
  • Unique vs total clicks

This helps you understand which content resonates with your audience.

Delivery Metrics

Status Meaning
Delivered Email reached inbox
Bounced Email couldn't be delivered
Complained Marked as spam
Deferred Temporarily delayed, will retry

Comparing Issues

The Analytics dashboard lets you compare performance across issues to identify trends and what works best.
