AI Recommendations
How DailyDraft's AI finds and ranks the most relevant content for your audience.
How AI Ranking Works
DailyDraft uses AI to score each discovered article based on:
- Keyword relevance - How well it matches your configured keywords
- Audience fit - How appropriate it is for your described audience
- Freshness - Recent articles score higher
- Source quality - Trusted sources get a boost
Relevance Scores
Each article displays a relevance score:
| Score | Meaning |
|---|---|
| 90-100% | Highly relevant - strongly recommended |
| 70-89% | Good fit - worth considering |
| 50-69% | Moderate relevance - review carefully |
| Below 50% | Low relevance - may not fit your newsletter |
Improving AI Recommendations
To get better AI suggestions:
1. Refine Your Keywords
Go to Settings → Preferences and update your keywords. Be specific:
- Instead of "technology" use "enterprise SaaS", "developer tools", "cloud infrastructure"
- Add industry-specific terms your audience cares about
2. Describe Your Audience
The audience description helps AI understand who you're writing for:
- "CTOs and engineering leaders at mid-size companies"
- "Golf enthusiasts interested in equipment and technique"
3. Set Categories
Categories help filter content by topic area. Select the categories most relevant to your newsletter.
4. Train by Curating
Every time you accept or reject an article, the AI learns your preferences. Consistent curation improves future recommendations.
Pro Tip: Use the ✨ AI Magic buttons to generate better keywords based on your newsletter's focus.
