Custom Layouts
Save and reuse newsletter layouts to maintain consistency across issues.
What Are Layouts?
Layouts are templates that define how your newsletter content is structured. They include:
- Section headers and dividers
- Content block arrangement
- Introduction and outro templates
- Article display format
Using Saved Layouts
To apply a saved layout to a new issue:
- Create a new issue or open a draft
- Click "Apply Layout"
- Select from your saved layouts
- The layout structure is applied to your issue
Creating a Layout
To save your current issue structure as a reusable layout:
- Design your issue with the desired structure
- Click "Save as Layout"
- Give your layout a name (e.g., "Weekly Digest", "Quick Updates")
- Click "Save"
Managing Layouts
Access your saved layouts from Content → Layouts in the sidebar:
- Preview - See how the layout looks
- Edit - Modify the layout structure
- Duplicate - Create a copy to customize
- Delete - Remove layouts you no longer need
Layout Best Practices
Consistency is key: Using the same layout helps subscribers know what to expect and makes your newsletter more scannable.

Content Blocks
Layouts can include reusable content blocks:
- Sponsor Block - Consistent ad placement
- CTA Block - Recurring calls-to-action
- Social Block - Links to your social profiles
- Footer Block - Standard sign-off and legal text
Manage content blocks from Content → Blocks in the sidebar.
