Import Articles by URL
Manually add specific articles to your newsletter by pasting their URLs.
Adding Articles by URL
Sometimes you find a perfect article that wasn't automatically discovered. You can add it manually:
- Navigate to the issue you're editing
- Click "Add Article" or "Import URL"
- Paste the article URL
- Click "Import"
DailyDraft will automatically:
- Fetch the article content
- Extract the title and main text
- Generate an AI summary
- Add it to your curated articles
Supported Sources
You can import articles from most websites, including:
- News sites (TechCrunch, The Verge, etc.)
- Blogs (Medium, Substack, personal blogs)
- Research publications
- Company announcements
Note: Some sites may block content extraction. If an import fails, try finding the same article on a different source.

To add multiple articles at once:
- Click "Bulk Import"
- Paste multiple URLs (one per line)
- Click "Import All"
- Wait for processing to complete
After Importing
Imported articles go through the same processing as discovered articles:
- Content is scraped and cleaned

- Article appears in your curated list
- You can edit the summary before publishing
