Import & Export Subscribers
Bring your existing subscribers into DailyDraft or export your list for backup.
Importing Subscribers
CSV Import
Import subscribers from a CSV file:
- Go to Subscribers in the sidebar
- Click "Import"
- Upload your CSV file
- Map columns to fields (email, name, etc.)
- Click "Start Import"
Required CSV Format
Your CSV must include an email column. Other columns are optional:

Tip: Download our sample CSV template to see the correct format.
Import Progress
Large imports run in the background. You'll see:
- Progress bar showing completion percentage
- Count of successful imports
- List of any errors (invalid emails, duplicates)
Exporting Subscribers
Download your subscriber list as a CSV:
- Go to Subscribers
- Click "Export"
- Select which subscribers to export (all, segment, or filtered)
- Click "Download CSV"
Export Contents
Exported CSVs include:
- Email address
- Name
- Subscription status
- Subscribed date
- Tags
- Referral source
- Total emails received
- Open rate
Privacy Note: Exported data is your responsibility. Handle subscriber information according to your privacy policy and applicable laws.
Migrating from Other Platforms
DailyDraft can import from most newsletter platforms:
- Mailchimp - Export as CSV from Audience
- ConvertKit - Export subscribers from Settings
- Substack - Download subscriber list
- Beehiiv - Export from Subscribers tab
