Import Your Subscribers

Bring your existing email list into DailyDraft with our easy CSV import, or add subscribers one at a time.

Import Methods

1. CSV Import (Recommended for Large Lists)

1. Go to your newsletter → Subscribers
2. Click "Import"
3. Upload your CSV file
4. Map columns to fields
5. Click "Start Import"

CSV Format

Your CSV should have headers. At minimum, include an email column:

email,name,tags
[email protected],John Doe,vip
[email protected],Jane Smith,"tech,marketing"
[email protected],Bob Wilson,

Supported Columns

Column	Required	Description
email	Yes	Subscriber email address
name	No	Full name or first name
tags	No	Comma-separated tags

2. Add Single Subscriber

1. Go to your newsletter → Subscribers
2. Click "Add Subscriber"
3. Enter email address and optional name
4. Add tags if desired
5. Click "Save"

3. API Import

For automated imports, use our REST API:

Exporting from Other Platforms

From Mailchimp

1. Go to Audience → All Contacts
2. Click Export Audience
3. Download as CSV
4. Import to DailyDraft

From ConvertKit

1. Go to Subscribers
2. Click Export
3. Download CSV
4. Import to DailyDraft

From Substack

1. Go to Settings → Exports
2. Download Subscribers CSV
3. Import to DailyDraft

Managing Imported Subscribers

After import, you can:

• View import history: See past imports with success/error counts
• Tag subscribers: Organize with custom tags
• Create segments: Build audiences based on tags or engagement
• Export anytime: Download your list as CSV

Starting Fresh

Don't have subscribers yet? No problem! You can:

1. Set up your public newsletter page
2. Share your subscribe link: your-newsletter.dailydraft.ai/subscribe
3. Embed a subscribe form on your website
4. Enable referral program to incentivize growth
