Make your newsletter uniquely yours with custom colors, logos, and design presets.
Accessing Design Settings
Go to your newsletter → Settings → Design
Primary Color
Your primary color is used throughout your newsletter:
- Email header background
- Button colors
- Link colors
- Public page accents
Choose from 16 Tailwind-based color options or enter a custom hex code.
Newsletter Icon
Your icon appears in:
- Email header
- Public newsletter page
- Browser favicon
Icon Options
- Upload your own: Square image, at least 200x200px
- AI Generate: Click "Generate Icon" for an AI-created icon based on your newsletter name
Header Image
The header image appears at the top of your emails and public pages.
Header Options
- Upload: Wide image, recommended 1200x400px
- AI Generate: Describe what you want and AI creates it
- None: Text-only header with your newsletter name
AI Header Generation
- Click "Generate Header"
- Enter a prompt describing the image you want
- AI generates the image (takes ~30 seconds)
- Review and apply, or generate another
Tip: Be specific in your prompts. "A modern abstract tech background with blue gradients" works better than "tech image."
Design Presets
Apply pre-built design themes with one click:
- Professional: Clean, corporate look
- Modern: Bold colors, contemporary feel
- Minimal: Simple, text-focused design
- Playful: Bright colors, friendly vibe
Presets configure colors, fonts, and spacing together.
Custom CSS
For advanced users, add custom CSS that applies to your emails:

Email CSS Limitations: Email clients have limited CSS support. Stick to basic properties like colors, fonts, and spacing.
Saving Your Design
Click "Save" to apply changes. You can also:
- Preview: See how emails look before saving
- Save as Template: Reuse this design on other newsletters
