Send to Subscribers

Publish your newsletter and deliver it to your subscribers.

Paid Feature: Sending to subscribers requires a paid newsletter plan ($97/month). Free tier users can preview issues but cannot send.

Before You Send

Complete these steps before sending:

  1. Review content - Check all articles and summaries
  2. Send a test - Verify formatting and links
  3. Check subject line - Make it compelling
  4. Verify recipients - Confirm which subscribers will receive it

Sending Your Issue

  1. Open the issue you want to send
  2. Click "Send Now"
  3. Confirm the recipient count
  4. Click "Send to Subscribers"

Recipient Options

Choose who receives your issue:

Option Description
All Subscribers Everyone with active subscription
Segment Only subscribers in a specific segment
Tagged Only subscribers with specific tags

Send Progress

After clicking send, you'll see:

  • Progress bar showing delivery status
  • Count of emails sent
  • Any delivery failures
  • Estimated completion time for large lists

After Sending

Once sent, the issue status changes to "Sent" and you can view:

  • Delivery report - Successful sends and failures
  • Open tracking - Who opened (updates in real-time)
  • Click tracking - Which links were clicked

Can I Edit After Sending?

No, once an issue is sent, it cannot be modified. The email has already been delivered to subscriber inboxes.

If you need to send a correction:

  1. Create a new issue
  2. Reference the correction in the subject
  3. Send to the same recipients
Tip: Avoid corrections by always sending a test email first and having someone else review before sending.
