Sending a Test

  1. Open the issue you want to test
  2. Click "Send Test" button
  3. Enter email address(es) to send to
  4. Click "Send Test Email"
Tip: Test on multiple email clients (Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail) to ensure consistent rendering.

Test Email Recipients

You can send tests to:

  • Yourself - Your account email is pre-filled
  • Team members - Add collaborator emails
  • Multiple addresses - Separate with commas

What Test Emails Include

Test emails are identical to the final version except:

  • Subject line is prefixed with [TEST]
  • Tracking is disabled (opens/clicks not recorded)
  • Unsubscribe link shows but doesn't work

Checking Your Test

When reviewing your test email, verify:

Subject Line Length, clarity, no typos
Preview Text Appears correctly after subject
Header Image Loads properly, correct size
Article Links All links work correctly
Formatting Headers, lists, spacing look right
Footer Contact info, unsubscribe visible

Common Issues Found in Tests

Click every link in the test to verify they work. Check for typos in URLs.
